## What Meyron is

Meyron is an educational reference. It summarises publicly available cancer-research information from major international bodies including the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC), the World Health Organization (WHO), the World Cancer Research Fund (WCRF), Cancer Research UK, the Canadian Cancer Society, and others. Every claim is linked to its primary source.

## What Meyron is NOT

- **Not medical advice.** Nothing on this site is a substitute for consultation with a qualified healthcare professional.
- **Not a diagnostic tool.** We do not diagnose any condition.
- **Not a personal risk calculator.** We do not tell you what your cancer risk is or will be.
- **Not treatment guidance.** We do not tell you how to treat or prevent any medical condition.
- **Not a substitute for professional care.** For any personal health question, please speak with a qualified healthcare provider.

## Educational reference only

The information on Meyron is provided for general educational purposes. Cancer risk is influenced by many individual factors — genetics, environment, behaviour, chance — that vary from person to person and cannot be assessed by reading a reference site. Do not make personal health decisions based solely on what you read here.

## Accuracy and sources

We work carefully to source every claim to an authoritative body. However:

- The science evolves. IARC and other bodies periodically reclassify agents based on new evidence.
- We may contain errors. Content is reviewed by a qualified editor before publication, but no editorial process is perfect.
- Our summaries are simplifications. The full source material is always more detailed than our plain-language summary.

When in doubt, follow the source link on each page and read the original.

The database structure, editorial summaries, and site design are copyright Meyron. The underlying source material (IARC Monograph classifications, WHO fact sheets, etc.) belongs to its original publishers and is used under fair use / educational reference exceptions. We link back to every primary source.

If we change these terms, we will update the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the site after material changes constitutes acceptance.
